Now's the time to make plans to attend the club's biggest event of the year, the 16th Annual Damon Runyon Award Banquet, to be held Friday, April 9, at the Denver Marriott City Center. REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY and you can do so at www.blacktie-colorado.com, and click on April 9.

- We also urge you to attend the DPC's annual membership meeting on Wednesday, March 31, starting at 6 p.m. Please put this on your calendar. First, it's a chance to visit with members you may not have seen for awhile, and to meet other members. Second, we give updates on various aspects of the club. Third, only those in attendance will vote on the new board officers.
- Our best wishes go to all the alumni of the Rocky Mountain News, who held a huge reunion Saturday night at the club (140 RSVPs!), exactly one year after the paper's closing.
- Tony Thompson's annual St. Patrick's Day Party takes place Saturday, March 13 (see listing below). This is the 18th year Tony has produced this event, and it includes Irish-themed food, bagpipers and step dancers.
