Greetings!
You can expect to hear some or all of these songs -- and this is just a partial listing -- when the Capitol Steps group performs on May 16, in an appearance the Denver Press Club is producing at the Newman Center:
- "Return to Spenders" (Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in harmony)
- "Ebony and Ovaries" (Barack and Hillary)
- "Everything's Coming up Roguey" (Sarah Palin, of course)
- "Fly of the Tiger" (with a special appearance by Phil Mickelson)
- "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Korea" (Kim Jong Il)
- "Help Me Honda" (the Toyota executives plead for advice)
The board of directors asks for your support for this major entertainment project -- buy tickets today; tell friends, family and colleagues about the show, and that tickets are just $45.50 and are on sale through Ticketmaster and the Newman Center box office (see full listing below under May 16), and that money will benefit the nation's oldest press club's operations, maintenance and college journalism scholarships.
Want to hang a poster somewhere that advertises this show? We've got extras; just email back to me here. Thanks!
