We have five new listings this week, and I'm happy to report that one of them is Denver native and Grammy Award-winning singer Judy Collins, who is coming to the club on Monday, Sept. 13 (see listing below).
Other DPC notes:
- I know it's hard to believe, because the miracle of Botox makes me look about 12 years old, but we're going to hold my 60th birthday party at the club on Thursday, Aug. 26, 6 p.m. Hope you can stop by.
- Now's the time to sign up for the annual golf tournament, which takes place Tuesday, Aug. 10 (see listing below). Four of the club's year-round corporate sponsors are sending foursomes, and beyond that, there's room for individual entrants. Why not put together a foursome and sign up?
- Here's a deal for you: Bring in 10 books for the club's book sale (date to be determined), and we'll give you one free drink ticket. The club is accepting donations of books, CDs and videos for the sale. One note: For books, we can accept only ones that are in good shape, and we can't accept textbooks, magazines, computer books or encyclopedias. To arrange a pickup, call Dan Danbom at 303-722-1846.
- And finally, the club says goodbye to long-time member Bill Pride, a former executive news editor of The Denver Post, who passed away recently.
Thanks
